"I'd rather be at the Adventure Zone!" - a great endorsement made by AZ regular, 2 year old Matthew, when he found himself at Disneyland, but longed for the fun he had closer to home...

Come on down to experience our all new iWall attraction!

In late July 2017, we'll be introducing our latest exciting attraction, the "i-Wall". It's a different take on game interaction than our popular, venerable 'i-Floor'. Instead of kids jumping on virtual bugs, soccer balls, and like objects on the floor, kids use the unlimited ammunition of Ball Pit Balls to take down virtual monsters, flying fruits and sea creatures on a giant wall. There are 10 kid themed games. The wall tracks the balls, and responds to hits and misses with equal enthusiasm. It'll be a real workout flinging balls at oncoming nasties. But who knows, somebody's throwing arm might get a little better!
Hence we present the "i-Wall". Come down and have your kids check it out!
Check out the video below to see it in action!

Indoor Playground
On a rainy day in Vancouver (which is to say, on most days in Vancouver), it can be a challenge looking for a fun place for kids' activities. We'd like to think The Adventure Zone is the best place for kids to burn off their unlimited supply of pent-up energy right in the middle of the city at Granville Island. Outdoor monkey bars and the like can be real slip hazards and leave kids soaking wet.
At the Adventure Zone indoor playground, we provide an environment that is fully enclosed, fully padded and one that undergoes scheduled weekly cleaning. Kids enjoy the rollicking fun of being chest deep in our ample ballpit. They dive and "swim" in the balls, "shoot baskets" with them, relocate the balls to build "ball dams", or even color code the balls by room. Really, the lower part of our playground is now called the "Ball Level", and kids are free to remake the Ballscape as they see fit. Parents can be reassured that the ball pit is completely emptied weekly to be cleaned. (We do find our fair share of toy cars, socks, hair pins, Paw Patrol stuffies even, which we'll try to return to their rightful owners.).

- You pick the design you like from our wide selection (from cars to puppies and everything in between).
- Then, you peel off each section one at a time.
- It'll reveal a sticky surface that you pour sand on (one colour at a time).
- The sand sticks, and you've just coloured that part with bright sparkly sand!
- It's just like colouring with crayons, but with more instant gratification!

Parking
Finding a place to park is not daunting at all. Yes we are located at Granville Island, but free parking is in fact abundantly available, especially earlier in the day 10am - 12pm and in the late afternoon on weekdays. On weekends, turnover is high, so if you simply 'lurk' at any of the small lots and side streets nearby (just keep going a bit past Kids Market on Cartwright street), you will likely find someone leaving. Just look for the "3H" (3 Hour) Parking Signs.
Joining the train of cars circling the island may not be the optimal way to go, though. And, available pay parking is always going to be easier to find.
You can download a map of the available pay parking lots on the Island here:
Map of Pay Parking
There are, of course, many alternative modes of transport in and around Kids Market and Granville Island. You can arrive by Aquabus ferry (docking by the Public Market) or cycle onto the island via the False Creek Seawall Bike path that encircles the entire False Creek area. It makes for a unique and personable way of getting to Kids Market. More information is available here.
